Educator
Public School and Collegiate Teaching
Clyne began her teaching journey in the elementary music classroom, where her lessons focused on music and movement, Orff, and Kodály teaching methods. She moved to middle school choir shortly after and then to the high school level where she taught high school choir and AP Music Theory. As a choral director, she earned numerous sweepstakes ratings with the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest as well as superior ratings at Choral Festivals.
In 2015 Clyne moved to Boston, MA to begin graduate studies in choral conducting at the Boston Conservatory. While in Boston, Clyne was assistant conductor for numerous choral ensembles, assistant conductor for the opera department, and led various student ensembles. Clyne also served as a graduate assistant for courses in music history. During her time at Royal Holloway - University of London, Clyne served as conductor of The Founder’s Choir and assistant conductor of the Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra, leading tours to Poland, France, and Germany. In addition, she served as frequent guest conductor and chorister with The Choir of Royal Holloway.
Clinician
An avid clinician, Clyne loves the exhilaration of working with new groups of musicians. She has worked with children’s choruses, high school and collegiate choirs, and vocal and instrumental chamber groups.
Adjudicator
Clyne has worked as an adjudicator for TMEA solo and Ensemble Competitions, All-State Choral Auditions, and Choral Festivals in Texas and Massachusetts. She has also been a private evaluator for high school and collegiate admissions auditions.

Clyne is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the American Choral Directors Association.
